Mission:
Cultivate Dance Collaborative is proud to be a non-competitive, art-based dance school. We strive to provide a nurturing, challenging, and enjoyable environment where students can cultivate their movement skills and grow as artistic individuals. Our teachers are true dance educators, with degrees in dance and years of expertise in the field. Our dance classes and performances are developmentally appropriate and professional.

Find classes that fit your schedule and your dancer
Our classes are formatted to teach the art, beauty, and safety of dance for the moving body. We teach students to stretch and strengthen their bodies safely rather than forcing anything. We believe that strength rooted in safe anatomical body knowledge will result in lifelong, strong dancers. Our age-appropriate levels and curriculum build technique in dancers to create strong, creative, healthy, young performers. Many of our dancers go on to study dance in college as well as perform, choreograph, and teach professionally post-college.

With experienced teachers, you can trust
Our dance instructors are educators in the dance field who have received their degrees in dance and have worked as professionals, as well as from teaching toddlers to the collegiate level. Additionally, our staff choreograph and perform concert dance. Over half of our staff have their Bachelors and/or Masters degrees in dance and dance education. Our instructors have performed professionally in the past and continued to perform in the present with dance companies and well-known choreographers located in Minneapolis, most notably 8:20 Dance Company, Eclectic Edge Ensemble, Continental Ballet Company, and Concerto Dance.
