Ballet 4: This 60-minute class meets twice a week. Students are required to take both classes. As their level increases they do more difficult movements that require strength and proper alignment. The dancers will work on furthering their understanding of ballet and growing as artists. This class is treated as a pre-pointe class. This structure for Ballet 4 will help the dancers be better prepared when moving up to Ballet 5 and feel strong on pointe. When moved up to Ballet 5, dancers should be already prepared to be on pointe.

Ballet 5/6: This 60-minute class meets two times a week. Students are required to take both classes. Students need to be at least 13 years old and have strong techniques. They will do pointe work in this class. The instructors will let the students know when they are ready to get pointe shoes. In this class, students will continue to grow into advanced pre-professional dancers. They will continue to work on improving their technique and artistic expression as well.

Outreach Camp

Led by Maddie Burnham & Melissa Brown Guenther

June 18th, 19th, 20th, 2024 1:00 pm- 3:00 pm

Ages 8+

In this camp, dancers will learn a couple of dance numbers to perform at a nursing home on Thursday. The nursing home we will be performing at is Harmony River in Hutchinson. Why Hutchinson you may ask? Owner, Maddie Burnham's grandmother recently moved into this nursing home this past year. She has been a constant support for Maddie and has been unable to come and see this studio due to rapid decline. What better way to bring the studio to her with an outreach camp?! The facility is stunning and we can't wait to bring some light and joy into the space with some performances from the dancers.

Thursday is performance day, and those that sign up will drive their students to the nursing home to arrive at 1:30. Performance for the residence is at 2:00-2:30. After the performance dancers are welcomed to go home.

Address: 1555 Sherwood St SE, Hutchinson, MN 55350
